Vertical Packaging Machine for Ice Cubes — Bag Making, Filling and Coding in One Pass

Packing ice is an odd brief for a packaging machine. The product is wet, heavy and cold, and nobody wants hands on it. That's the reason this machine exists in the shape it does.
Three automatics, one pass. The film comes off the roll and the machine forms the bag, fills it, seals it, cuts it and prints the date and batch code before the pack leaves the jaw. Automatic bag making, automatic filling, automatic coding — no pre-made bags, no hand sealing, no separate coder bolted on downstream with its own operator. One person on the line, and no human contact with the product between the weigher and the case.
Built for a cold, wet room. Ice and frozen product put a VFFS in the worst conditions a packaging machine sees: condensation on the film, low ambient temperature, moisture in the seal zone. The frame, the jaws and the film path are specified for that, which is why this format — not a horizontal wrapper — is the standard answer for ice and IQF product.
Film structures. POPP/CPP, POPP/NMPP and CPP/PE. For freezer work, the CPP/PE structure is the one to look at — it seals at lower temperatures and stays flexible once the pack is down to temperature instead of turning brittle.
What else runs on it. The same platform handles puffed snacks, biscuits, small toys, frozen dumplings, glutinous rice balls (tangyuan) and other large-granule products. Change the former and the bag format; change the dosing and the product.
Coding. Date, batch, lot, price — printed inline as the bag is made, on the same film, at line speed. TTO or hot-stamp ribbon, whichever suits the film and the budget.
Tell us the product, the bag size and the film you run. We'll size the machine, quote the former and the coder together, and put the film spec and the ribbon on the same sheet — so there's one supplier to call when something on the line needs replacing.
