Thermal Transfer Overprinter with WIFI function and APP Food/ label /Daily chemical flexible packaging printing
HPRT DC24A-E thermal transfer overprinter with a 24 mm print head, 203 dpi, 20-200 mm/s. Phone app control, no preheating, for VFFS and labelling lines.
HPRT DC24A-E TTO Printer - 24 mm Date Coder for Vertical Packaging
The DC24A-E is a compact thermal transfer overprinter for vertical packaging machines and labelling lines. It prints a 24 mm wide code directly onto the film as the pack is formed, so dates, batch numbers and 2D codes are on the pack before it leaves the machine.
It is built to replace an older hot stamp coder on a vertical line. There is no type to set and no heater to wait for - the DC24A-E prints as soon as the line starts, and the code is edited on a phone rather than at a mechanical type block.
What Makes It Different
No preheating. The first pack off the line prints at full quality, so start-up waste is a pack rather than a roll of film.
Edited from a phone. The printer connects wirelessly to the HPRT app, so a date or batch change does not need a laptop, a cable or a technician standing at the machine.
All-metal head assembly with no wear parts to replace on a schedule, and low ribbon consumption.
24mm printer
printing effect
A print area matched to small packs. 24 mm by 15 mm is enough for a two-line date and batch code, a QR code, or a logo mark on a sachet or pouch.
Specifications
Print method thermal transfer. Print area 24 mm x 15 mm. Resolution 203 dpi (8 dots/mm). Print speed 20-200 mm/s. Minimum film residence time 100 ms, with output up to 200 packs per minute on fixed 15 mm content. Coding direction 0 or 180 degrees. Ribbon length 200 m, wax/resin or resin. IP40. Working range 5-40 degrees C at 10-90 percent relative humidity. Power AC 100-240 V.
What It Prints
1D and 2D barcodes, production and expiry dates, automatic batch numbers and batch codes, time to the second, factory and machine numbers, and custom text, numbers and punctuation in Chinese or English. The font is vector-based, so characters can be enlarged or bolded without losing edge quality.
Compatible Films
PVDCPET, PE, NY, CPP, OPP, BOPP, BOPET, BOPA, VMPET and VMCPP, plus other films and composite films used on vertical packaging machines.
Frequently Asked Questions
1.Will it fit my existing vertical packaging machine?
Yes, it is designed for vertical packaging and labelling equipment. It takes a print start signal from an NPN or PNP sensor at 12-24 V DC and gives a fault relay output, so it wires into the line PLC the same way a hot stamp coder does.
2.What ribbon does it use?
A 200 m wax/resin or resin ribbon. The 24 mm print width keeps ribbon consumption low, which is where most of the running cost sits on a date coder.
3.Can the code be changed without stopping the line?
Yes. Dates, batch numbers and text are edited in the HPRT app over the wireless connection, and the printer updates the code without a laptop or a cable at the machine.
