If you're sourcing date coding foil by model number, you know how it usually goes. Three suppliers quote you an LC1, one sends a sample that prints grey. We make the range in-house, and we'd rather you test it than take our word for it.
What we run. LC1*, LC1, LC6, SCF900, SCF905, SCF907 — hot stamping ribbons for the type-holder coders that sit on most soft-packaging lines: HP-241, HP-241B, HP-241S, DY-8, DY-6, TJ-08. LC1* is the one HP-241 users ask for by name most weeks. SCF900 is the general-purpose black; SCF905 and SCF907 cover the higher-resolution and standard grades.
Substrates. PE, PP, PET, PVC, aluminium foil and composite laminated film. Soft packaging, in other words — hot stamp foil isn't the tool for rigid cartons. It prints dates, batch numbers, expiry codes, prices and 2D codes, and holds up where the product goes: retort and high-temperature sterilization, freezer storage down to -18°C, and conveyor scuffing on the way to the case packer.
Colours. Black still moves the volume, and colour foils cover the rest — brand-matched work, promotional runs, colour-coded lines. Tell us the shade and we'll match it.
Roll format. 25mm and 30mm × 100m are the common sizes for these machines. Send us the machine model and the roll width you're running, and we cut to it.
Why buy direct. We coat the ribbon ourselves, so lot-to-lot consistency is a spec sheet, not a promise. OEM labels, neutral packing, mixed-model orders in one container, and samples before you commit.
Send the model, the colour and the roll size — you'll get a quote with the actual spec on it, not a generic price list. Machines not on the list above? Send a photo of the type holder and we'll tell you which foil fits.
Model
Ink Type
Suitable Packaging
Typical Application
LC1
Universal mixed-base (best-seller)
PE, PP common laminated film, plastic bags, paper-plastic packaging
General snacks, daily goods, simple food packaging, ambient storage — most universal choice
LC1* (new LC1, upgraded)
Improved mixed-base
PE/PP laminated film, thin flexible pouches
Higher line speed; customers wanting better abrasion than LC1 — main upgrade for food packaging
LC6
Low-temperature mixed-base
Heat-sensitive soft film, thin PP film, some coated films
Lines where film can't withstand high heat, head scorching or film deformation is a risk
SCF900
High-performance resin-base
PE, PP, aluminum-foil laminated bags, freezer film
Frozen food, quick-frozen dumplings / ice cream — needs freezer & scratch resistance, print stays on with normal wiping
SCF905
Mid-to-high resin-base
Aluminum-foil bags, semi-finished retort pouches, high-barrier film
Meat products, sauces, chilled food — packaging with condensation moisture or slight grease
